From potato races to new friendships

Thursday night, master’s students in logistics at Molde University College gathered at Smuget on Molde campus for the 11th version of the annual Get together party.

The event was filled with team-building activities where groups with new students were formed togheter in teams, participating in activites  from potato racing, waterpong to quizzes against other teams for prizes.

First place winners got dinner, while second place  winners earned coffee and cake with their newly acquainted teammates. In the end, every team did win free coffee and cake with their teammates in the university canteen.

—  It was kind of easy and fun to arrange this party, mainly because we got help from Arild Hoff with the arrangements, says student Torstein Eggen.

Mathias Ekrene was one of the lucky winners of the potato race, here is his advice.

— Keep your tongue straight in your mouth and run quickly, that`s how you win the potato race, says Mathias Ekrene.

— Besides winning the competition, I mostly enjoyed getting to know many new students, adds Ekrene.

–  I think it was a great idea to have this get-together-party, I had so much fun meeting new students, says Katerina Gajdušková.
